In the meantime I've discovered filedescriptor #19 beeing opened by ksh. The shell is reading commands via #19 for execution.
Nevertheless patchadd should close filedes 3, 4, 6 and 7 or at least should set FD_CLOEXEC flag on these filedes - see fcntl.h(3HEAD). Now what? File a bug for patchadd? - Andreas This message posted from opensolaris.org
