Hi All, This is just a heads-up that the Install Consolidation (from which the SVR4 Packaging tools originate) has switched to using the Sun Studio 11 compiler suite to compile the source in the Install gate (and thus the packaging tools) in build 46.
Now at the present time, there is nothing in the packaging tools that requires the use of the new compiler but that may not always be the case. Certainly when we open the rest of the Install sources the required/recommended CBE will be the Studio 11 compilers. I've updated the documentation at: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/svr4_packaging/ to reflect this change in compilers when building the sources.
