I have a GA-MA78GM-S2H ATI Technologies Inc Radeon HD 3200 Graphics, booting the snv_b110 dvd or when using Jumpstart the Xserver X.Org X Server 1.5.3 Release Date: 5 November 2008 starts with a the mouse cursor dies not move and there is no window manager just a gray background, this has been broken since snv_b106 , used to work on snv_b105 using the older Xserver.
If I wait an hour the jumpstart profile completes, and I am able to boot snv_b110 and the window manger starts but with limited resolution settings 1024x768 800x600 640x480 , but not the full range up 1600x1200 and 1920x1280 does not work anymore since snv_b105. i included a Xorg.0.log_during_install file and one after the snv_b110 completed installing and rebooted Xorg.0.log_after-install -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
