I added the linker options (-lsocket -lnsl) and now the program compiled
succsessfuly :-)

I ran into some other problems, when running the executable:
pipe_test_c(): couldn't gethostbyname() using <myhostname>,
so I added my hostname to /etc/hosts and the error went away.
The other problem had to do with the tests AIM performs like below:

So I just commented new_raph test in the workfile so it isn't executed, and the
benchmark ran just fine.
