You need to submit a BUGID http://www.opensolaris.org/bug/report.jspa , check your /var/crash/localhost or `hostname` subdir and run a mdb ./unix.X ./vmcore.X > $C > ::cpuinfo > ::stack
Also as a work around you can unpack from the same version of Solaris Express Community Edition system you are tryng to unpack. for example unpack a miniroot from a Solaris 10 needs to be from a system running Solaris 10 vs SECE system does work.
