The newest release is in fact 2009.06. It should not have broken 2008.11 package updates. In fact if you're running 2008.11, doing a pkg image-update should update you to the latest release. > I have similar issues on another 2008.11 server. Since you're problem is related to pkg, I'd suggest you ask on their alias (pkg-discuss at opensolaris.org). That said, I think you'll need to provide more information. One thing that caught my eye in your original post was that you had a 'minimal' install of 2008.11. 2008.11 (and 2009.06) don't have any official releases that are 'minimal'. So, outlining what you mean by 'minimal' may be useful to help diagnose your issue with the pkg developers. Cheers, -- Glenn
