I'm a solaris newbie. Downloaded the b107 iso -- tried to install on a brand new machine with a Supermicro H8DME-2 mb, AthlonX4 x2, LSI 3442E HBA, Supermicro 846E1 case with SAS expander
... first tried the GUI install. Hung with an X in the center of a gray screen when the GUI first loaded. Read the archives about the x.org issues. Tried b108. Same problem. I am able to install b108 from the console install. Whenever it boots it tries to load the GUI and fails and then reverts to command line. ...
