I tried to use UNetbootin (release 299 under Ubuntu 7.10) to create a bootable
USB drive of OpenSolaris, but both osol-0906-106a-x86.usb and
osol-0906-107-x86.iso from http://www.genunix.org/, with correct md5sums,
generated the following error on boot:

Loading
Invalid or corrupt kernel image.
Boot:

Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

To jkiel, thank you for your excellent response!

Thanks,
rcs
