Hi I recently went SXCE 95->96->97 (liveupgrade).
First, something that I've been seeing for a good while. The contents of /etc/rtc_config do not get preserved between upgrades. My timezone is Europe/Paris, and I have the RTC set to GMT. /etc/rtc_config has zone_lag=0. When I upgrade, it gets set to -7200. Next, since SXCE 96, I've been having X11 font problems. I had LANG=en_US.UTF-8 in /etc/TIMEZONE, and was unable to start an xterm, and got font error messages from xemacs. I changed LANG to C, no more font errors, though xemacs dumped a few core files on exit for a while (that seems to have stopped now as well), Paul -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
