I would like to put together an IPS package to make some simple configuration changes to my OpenSolaris system once it has been installed. The simplest example of this would be to change the SLEEPTIME variable in /etc/system . How would I go about doing this as an IPS package? The examples I can find by googling all refer to delivering files , not settings.
