Dave, thanks for your response. Dennis and Moinak, Just to be clear, we are only moving the SVr4 packaging tools forward and into ON. We are completely discontinuing the patch code. If you are planning on making changes to the packaging code, it would be far better to wait till after the code appears in ON, unless there is an urgent need.
Of course, if you have extra time and would like to get the updated packaging code to build in ON, just let me know.
