The system is reported to work on the HCL... https://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/data/systems/details/11340.html Could be that you have a different variant with an incompatible Hard Drive interface. Have you tried the compatibility tool? You should be able to run it in windows, off the CD, or you can download it here... http://opensolaris.org/os/downloads/ Otherwise, maybe your CD is faulty.
