hello, we have now the problem "Re-syncing out-of-sync zones" described in [PSARC/2007/691 FastTrack timeout 12/21/2007] .
the problem was that the zoneroot filesystem doesn't have enough space for the patches and patchadd doesn't handle this by default. in the man page of patchadd i have seen the option "-O pessimistic" mode. what i have read the option had eventually prevent the out-of-sync situation. when can i use "-O retry" to fix our zones and when i can use "-O pessimistic" to prevent this situation? thanks mario This message posted from opensolaris.org
