Okay, I have a laptop here (HP dv9000t) that runs Solaris 10 u5 just fine for the most part. Everything works great except my Atheros bases WN-I01GT wireless card.
I downloaded the Nevada B95 install DVD and burned it. Upon boot I get the grub menu (Solaris, TTYA, etc) and choose the main selection. I see some dots go across, then I see the first screen with kernel info, and then everything just goes blank. I checked and the caps lock key doesn't seem to work (no change in the LED) at that point. Yes, I tried waiting. This is an Intel 32-bit Core 2 CPU, Intel chipset, nVidia GO 7800 256MB laptop. Any ideas? I also tried the second choice, serial TTYA, and get a blank screen and lockup on that one too. When I burned the install DVD I set it to verify the burn (go back, read DVD, compare to ISO) Steve --- SunOS user since 1986 (3.2) This message posted from opensolaris.org
