Hello, I'm trying to install the 2008.05 Live CD. On some distributions, there is an option to boot in a "Compatibility Mode", "Safe Mode", or "Safe Graphics Mode". This distribution does not. I noticed Ubuntu uses a xforcevesa option and others use a noapci option.
After the Live CD loads, the background image looks like comic book and the text is somewhat hard to read. Are there any boot options I can use which is equivalent to the modes I mentioned above? I have an ATI Radeon 7200 graphics card. Thanks, Larry -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
