I have yet to find a straight answer to this question, so I am going to ask it
here.
I want to install 2 versions of OpenSolaris/Solaris onto a single disk x86
system and the following is my understanding.

1) Two fdisk partitions can not be done, since Solaris only likes one SOLARIS
partition on a single disk. This means Solaris install or Live Upgrade will not
work.
    - I am sure that I have read that it can be done, but I guess not straight
forward, since both live Upgrade and install program can not locate the other
fdisk partition.

So, the following is the only way

2) Have 1 fdisk partition on the disk and create at least 3 slices:
        slice 1 s0 (OpenSolaris snv72)
        slice 2 s1 (swap)
        slice 3 s2 (Solaris 10)

Am I correct in the above.

Thanks
