Is this advisable? I absolutely don't want any database configuration being
done
without direct and explicit intervention.

And yet I might want the database software installed - even the
server component.

I might want to give myself the option of running a database later;
or I might want to install lots of zones with databases running but not
in the global zone.

Software should only be configured if there's an indication that
it's actually going to be used.
