You wouldn't see any changes doing an upgrade. The changes are present when booting from the media. There is a new menu choice which provides a "streamlined" install path. Alot of the questions that were asked are skipped or defaults are chosen if we can get that information from the network. It's not Caiman work (since we did the work on the current installer and not the new installer that Caiman will create eventually) but it's a little nicer of an initial experience.
