Yes, every time when I've made a modification anywhere on /a, with a following command: bootadm update-archive -R /a > I seem to recall that adding -v to the boot options > will get the path to > print. Been a while since I had to, though, so I may > be hallucinating. The catch is that the system panics so fast that I'm unable to read the output. I work around this by booting with "-svk", which kicks me into kmdb. But since we are talking ANSI console here, I have no way to scroll upwards to see if any boot paths were printed. At that point, kmdb is my only option. However, I am not a kernel expert. This message posted from opensolaris.org
