My ultimate desire is to be able to install *any* SRU from a single repo (single URL) using the Auto Installer.
If I try using osol-re.sfbay/support and define entire at 0.5.11-0.111.1 in my manifest, the install fails with: Install Phase ... Done Reading Existing Index ... Done Indexing Packages ... Done pkg: The following package(s) violated constraints: Package pkg:/SUNWcs at 0.5.11,5.11-0.111.5 conflicts with constraint in installed pkg:/entire: Pkg SUNWcs: Optional min_version: 0.5.11,5.11-0.111.1 max version: 0.5.11,5.11-0.111.1 defined by: pkg:/entire I guess the *real* question should be: can I install a base release plus *any* given SRU in one single step, or do I need to do a base install first, followed by a pkg install of the specific SRU. --Jens Albert White wrote: > Hi, > > I'm not an expert on AI but the support repo contains everything that is > in the release repo.
