Thanks for replying. I used c8t0d0s0 as raw device in installgrub command but got an error. #installgrub /boot/grub/stage1 /boot/grub/stage2 /dev/rdsk/c8t0d0s0 device /dev/rdsk/c8t0d0s2 not a char device
Please advice what should I do next? I used prtvtoc and format commands to identify the root slice. format told me the disk starts from c8t0* and using prtvtoc I found that c8t0d0s0 has flags 0(root) and tag 2(mountable,readable and writable). Thanks -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
