Well, putting in the FQHN doesn't trigger the bogus SUN workaround, since
it than is able to determine the domain using the default code.

BTW: My guts say, the bug gets triggered by the hostname, which is a single
letter, only...

Actually I need to eval b129 because the missing NIS+ prevents us from
any further upgrades.

OT: Depending on the outcome of the next osol release (i.e. sparse zones,
local install repositories aka install serveris and "jumpstart" features
like install profile creation on the fly) we'll decide, whether we migrate
all desktops (and possibly some servers like e-mail, LAMP/GF) to linux or
migrate to osol (with the add. hurdle to move and adapt all supporting
scripts/apps to ldap). til that time we need to live with b129 :(
