with [open]solaris now mostly as a side hobby, i see the updates seem to be
flowing far less frequently than from what i remember at my time working in the
sun .. not sure what answers the oracle is now providing, but truly they do
seem to be a bit mysterious when consulted about the future ..

anyhow a recap on what I can tell as the available repositories:

pkg.opensolaris.org/release - is now mostly over 1 year old (updates to
clustertools, sunstudio, opends, and ldomsmanager this year)

pkg.opensolaris.org/dev - is now over 2 months old with a build that appears to
be about 6 cycles back

pkg.opensolaris.org/contrib - is now over 5 months old

pkg.opensolaris.org/pending has been moved to jucr.opensolaris.org/pending
which at least has a stamp from 04/23 (so not too bad - but I'm guessing that's
most likely from the move)

now 2010.03 has come and gone, and we hear that 134b might now bake for a
2010.05 (guessing it might end up being 2010.06 like last year)

ah well .. back to playing with my fedora
