The SPARC architecture is not, but the Ultra 10 is - it's over 10 years old
now. There were bootable SPARC text installation CD's made for the last
OpenSolaris development builds before we stopped releasing the distro.
They should still be available on genunix.org, but for hardware as ancient
as the Ultra 10, you're better off with Solaris 10, especially if you want to
use it as a workstation, since OpenSolaris had no support for any of the
Ultra 10's graphics options.
