I just tested on the demo site and it seems to work. Make sure when you log in that you select the "Jump to personal page" option, otherwise you will get the default behavior which is to stay on the current page.

This feature is quite important to us since it looks like the best way to achieve the "my portal view" type of personalization and so I would appreciate any information about how to fix this or a work around to accomplish it. I am a Jahia Newbie so the best solution would be to hear that 4.0.5 fixes it and that it will be coming within a month. However, if need be I am prepared to build from source if you can direct me to it.
I note there is mention in the draft version 4 Jahia Template Developer Guide about a future section describing how a shared page could have personalized layout for each end user (page 79) Jahia. This may be an alterative to way to accomplish what we need. Can you publish notes for this section?
