Thanks for your response. It turned out that I needed to put the *other* port 
in the Jahia field: 3035.

org.jahia.cache.jmsCacheContextProviderURL = tcp\://blah.com.au\:3035/

It all works fine now.

Maybe this should be added to the documentation since most people would need to 
use the TCP connection method to allow proper firewalling between their 
clustered servers...

Hmm I don't know if Jahia is involved here. Basically we take the 
connection string and give it unmodified to the OpenJMS implementation. 
Do you get more details on the EOFException ?
