Hi Juan,
You can switch to any other OU as your base dn - it is not needed to have a separate and specific tree - but you cannot have multiple entries. The users will be looked up in the entire subtree.

When I joined my company, they already had Jahia (4.1) integrated with
LDAP. They created a top level OU for Jahia Users (at that time only a
handful of users had access)
OU=Jahia_Users
OU=Company_Users
   OU=Region
      OU=Department

Now, with the unlimited passive user's license, we want to allow all
members of the company (eventually) to be able to login to Jahia.

Can Jahia search users in two OUs (Jahia_Users and Company_Users)? or
would it be easy to change the current OU to point to OU=Company Users?

Does Jahia need to have its separate OU?

Thanks!
-Juan
