Matthias, I'm using Mysql, and my database.yml files looks like this

development:
  adapter: mysql
  host: localhost
  database: instiki
  username: root
  password: password

test:
  adapter: mysql
  host: localhost
  database: instiki

  adapter: mysql
  host: localhost
  database: instiki
  username: root
