Yes. I forgot to mention it, but Debian has a 'rake' package
as well.
fyi, that was how i came to error messages:
1. apt-get install ruby-all
2. gem install rails
3. rails mynewproject
4. cd mynewproject
6. ruby script/server
---> error rails needs rubygems >= 1.3.1 to run.
strange thing. i am glad that instiki seems not to be affected. i
think this is because of the difference of gem rails vs. rails in a
vendor directory. so this might affect people that run instiki with a
global rails installation on debian or ubuntu.
