What are the issues with RFC 4285? Is it written somewhere, or can someone
summarize please?

I agree with IKE/IPsec being an overkill for MIPv6.
RFC 4285 addresses that.
WiMAX architecture already uses it.

The missing piece in IETF world for RFC 4285 is the bootstrapping of keys.
WiMAX architecture handles this its own way. We could be talking about a
generic solution to that in IETF.
