Hi, This new draft proposes to use semantic address for satellite networking when Inter-satellite-link is used in the future big scale satellite constellation connected to Internet. It can be used for routing and switching in a very dynamic but ordered satellite topology. More background information was described in the updated draft draft-lhan-problems-requirements-satellite-net-01.
