Well oti I think that you can read the changelog to know what changes have been made - It won't matter because they are for 965 and up and we can't verify which affect 950.
For me JA, Q4 run fine (by fine I mean they didn't start at all with previous drivers). As for "modding" - you just have to download the driver and change two digits! From 9 to 7 - can't be that complicated... if it is I'm sure someone will prepare a file that works for everybody if my solution will not.
