I believe I have stumbled across the problem of why opengl doesn't work with the modded drivers. It is because of the way it is installed I believe, not the driver itself.
I know this because I have installed the official intel drivers for my computer the same way you need to install the modded driver (unzipping the files and doing the "update driver" thing).
