Hi

You have made a very interesting point about OsX - I wanted to try It
on hackintosh also but... you did it first.

The results are strange - according to many video on YT, an old 2,16
macbook (with 950) runs q4 far better than win based machine.

According to a program alled OpenGL extensions Viewer a 950 on my Win
2008 (=Vista) machine has followin capabilities:

Extensions: 56

Core features
v1.1 (100 % - 7/7)
v1.2 (100 % - 8/8)
v1.3 (100 % - 9/9)
v1.4 (100 % - 15/15)
v1.5 (66 % - 2/3)
v2.0 (10 % - 1/10)
v2.1 (0 % - 0/3)

This program has a database with capabilities of different video cards
- among them 950 on Apple and this is where it gets interesting:

A 950 on Mac is said to have 87 extensions - among them 17 GL_Apple
(so we can count those out) but still that is 14 mor GL functions
among them the ones which belong to GL_ARB group. Im no guru - but I
belive that they are (to some extent) necessary for OpenGl 2.0
