Hey,

I'm jeremyshaw, the imcompetent person of the group (not really, but I am
new).

Are you using a laptop?
The laptop chipsets are ALWAYS way customized in comparison to the desktop
gfx solutions.
Then if you are using a desktop, why not spend 50USD and upgrade?

Laptops= just play the games you can, and suck it up for the rest. The GMA
950 sucks.
4pixel shaders
0vertex shaders = no Hardware TnL
good bandwidth, though.

I cheated and got a 4500mhd on a dell studio15
good laptop, though. I hate laptop discrete (read: nvidia&ati) cards because
I never get decent battery life with them (take 1-2 hours from total battery
life of a standard integrated solution) and they run HOT!

the new Intel integrated cards are decent (can put up to a nVidia...7600)
and will last quite a few years (I guess 3 years) for super high end games
and about 10 years for your typical stock (good games on dead min settings).
But then, 5 years is about upgrade time...

Thanks
-Jeremy Shaw

p.s. sorry for the ranting, hope you got *some* useful data from there
