Well, I got it to work with all patches (bought the game the millsecond it came out) and it works on all of them, I just found it works better on patch 1.00 vanilla (means no mods) with the pixel shaders set to high.
The later patches seem to have countered this "great breakthrough" Still waiting for Soviet Assault, though.
