I've done that once actually a month ago, cause there was no demo to try. The Longest Journey Dreamfall, wasn't sure it would work, downloaded the game, installed, started and tried, it worked excellent, so I immediately deleted it all and wished it for Christmas and got it, now I'm enjoying it fully! Any law calling that illegal or immoral is stupid as it made me buy the game, I'll probably do it again one day, for instance I'm really considering the Witcher for my birthday in Feb, there's no demo is it?. I hate where there's no demo to try and you just have to take a risk and cash out tons of money.
I meant 50$ on 3 games btw, on online auctions. I almost always buy my games on ebay or equivalent, it's too expensive in stores. DELL is awful in any way, I'm saving up for a new laptop, and have Sony Vaio in mind. At least they're famous for good screens, this bl**dy screen is awful.
