March 3rd, 2009 News About The GMA 950
This graphics card has been bashed for a while now, all of these Nvidia and ATI fan boys are bashing the intel chipsets. Well, I have some news. The GMA X3100 has T&L support, we all know this but we "think" that the GMA 950 doesn't support T&L, but this may be incorrect. Many people that are really hardcore to find a solution for the GMA 9XX may be coming.... because the GMA 950 is not actually at its full potential. What's going on here is that the GMA 9 series has T&L.... It is just not "shown or used" ingame, what I am trying to say is that there is T&L hardware in the GMA 9 series (the gma 945g and 945gm are the only candidates that have this hardware so far that we have found) If we can find a way to unleash it... we might finally have success. However, this doesn't mean we can run games like cod 4 maxed out 4xAA, but projections show with T&L the minimum fps (specs would be all minimum of course) would be 9.8 the average would be about 20, but would like to hang around 15-18. So that means no Cod:WaW, Crysis (with 3D-analyze) Fallout 3 (slightly unplayable with light action) the card can be compared with the ATI x300.
