If you really want to try Windows 7 but want to keep Windows Vista, I think dualbooting might have some kind of issue but probably not, but if it was me I'd grab a nice USB Flash Drive (mines 8gb) and install it from there - and yes - you can install Windows7 to a flash drive. :)
