Well I know how you got the 7201...:) I am running the legal 7100 version with the modded vista driver, same one you are trying to use. You need to run it in compatibility mode for vista to get it to install. Then it will say something about it not being a legit driver and if you are sure you want to continue. Well you wouldn't have made it this far if you didn't want to use it so continue, let it install and after the reboot go to control panel...system and security...device manager...then look at display adapters. It should say "Mobile Intel (R) 945 Express mod. By INTEL 9XX Gaming".
So how is the newer (not newest, newest is 7236) win7? Did they ever fix the bug that when you move the taskbar from the bottom to the top of the screen it does not show its outline on the left side of the screen? Or the problem with the mouse wheel function over the taskbar to control system volume that rarely ever works? The 7100 has a lot of bugs compared to the 7077. Be weary though with the modded driver on win7. Half of the games that I am able to play with the new pre release driver give bsod with the modded driver.
