Well, I decided to give it a go with the 1666 drivers for the 965gm to see if they would work out on my 945gms, so, after trying the device id switch on the inf and having to install through the have disk method, the installation gave me a bsod and only through a safe mode system restore was I able to restore my machine. Here is what I switched besides the name associated with the device id; [Intel.Mfg] %iCRGE0% = i965GM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A12 changed to %iCRGE0% = i965GM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27AE %iCRGE1% = i965GM1, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A13 remained the same
