i try to answer some question ok: here it goes 1. on XP,yes, i notice much more boost in performance, but it will only effect on laptop chipset of GMA950 as desktop version has already been clock at 400mhz. on vista/win7 i dont really know but i notice some performance boost on win7 with power option set to high performance.
2. hm,ver 1545 and 1624 vista ones work great on win7 or u can try my modded ones specially for win 7 on the file section u have to download the official driver 1st here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2300&OSFullName=Windows+7*&lang=eng&strOSs=188&submit=Go! and replace the inf. info here: http://groups.google.com/group/intel9x-gaming/browse_thread/thread/6dffaa3761a2c47f 3. Hmm,it's hard to manage as GMA core work at most 70*C. if u manage to keep it under 30*C. u can play games longer without crashes. as in performance, nah, it doesnt make any difference as it effects stamina, the cooler the longer it can run. 4. Hmm,intel already make the best driver that has performance on both unix and linux system on the official site. no point to make it improve. ^^ 5. that's though job. i can manage to run it on HD tv, LG ones..hehe,it's awsome..but to make it run 3 or more monitors all at ones, u need a VGA distributer box, donno how much it will cost but i doubt it will work as making it work with 2 monitors at once are hard work with modded driver ^^ 6. hmm,the developer driver rite?? nah, i dont know anything on that .. sorry huhu......... 7. Hmm, the only way i know is overclock ur cpu as GMA always relly on CPU power, hehe, i manage to make my 1.67 dual cpu to 1.89ghz and GMA run smooth with gma booster. as for GMA clock, again im sorry,i dont know how in any way to make it run pass 400mhz..sorry~~~ 8. hmm, there's an issue i once read that unix failed to manage power distribution between hardware mostly on PCI type, worst than windows..i donk really know bout mac ones..huhu. AGAIN sorry......... hmm, correct me if i were wrong, that all that i know....hope i helpd ^^ cheers^^ On Jul 2, 12:13 pm, AngelicTears <[email protected]> wrote: > i try to answer some question ok: here it goes > > 1. on XP,yes, i notice much more boost in performance, but it will only > effect on laptop chipset of GMA950 as desktop version has already been > clock at 400mhz. > > 2. > > On Jul 2, 12:07 pm, Espionage724 <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > 1. I heard it didn't matter on Windows but idk why... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "INTEL 9XX Gaming" group.
