To dual-boot Vista and Windows 7:
1. Click start menu, in Start Search box type: compmgmt.msc. Then,
click on Computer Management. When that loads up, under "Name", double
click on Storage, then Disk Management(Local). When that loads, right-
click on your main hard drive, (usually C:) and click Shrink Volume...
Then wait for the "Querying Shrink Space" window to disappear, then
Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB, then, click Shrink. Then,
when its created the new partition, right-click on it and click New
Simple Volume. Now, you have downloaded the Windows 7 Release
Candidate haven't you? If you haven't, you can get it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/download.aspx
Scroll down that website until you get to "Download 32-bit
version" (assuming you want to download 32-bit version)
(You'll have to register a Live ID to login and get the product key
and Windows 7 download link.) Then, burn the Windows 7 DVD image to a
DVD, and install on the new partition you created. After it's fully
installed, when you reboot your computer it'll give you the option to
either boot up Windows Vista or Windows 7! Dual-boot successful! Enjoy
Windows 7!
