hmm...not really MAD_BEAST... the lite version juz remove some unwanted services, remove the windows security thing like windows action center, desktop composition, the windows update system, bla3x and others stuffs that are not necessary.. still u'll get the required API's and libraries that are necessary for the improve performance of win7....
i would recommend it but i love windows aero..^^ in fact i was really joyed when my laptop can run Aero with out fuss..not like vistcrap.... overall, u will not missing any performance related system drivers or what so ever...but u'll losing almost ALL graphical eye candy in win7 as example windows Aero and animation..and some security essentials like windows firewall etc...
