My sister installed The Sims 3 on my craptop with a Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family and she didn't have any problems (ctd's, freezes etc) whatsoever! Sorry that I can't be of any help to you bro, my only advice would be to re-install the game on your laptop. I hope that fixes the problem for you bro. :)
