True. Well I have no particular reason to switch back to XP now that WoW works.
Just have to find out how to force 5.1 audio though... thats the 2nd most important feature I liked in XP. Now WoW works at ok FPS but only outputs stereo sound becuase FMOD (WoW's audio engine) detects the windows control panel as using 2 speakers. In XP, I was always able to change between several sound setups (laptop stereo, 5.1 theater, 7.1, headphones, etc). On Vista or 7, I heard that Realtek was supposed to have some speaker fill option, but I have yet to see its existence... (UNRELATED) I just bought CoD MW2 for 360 :) On Thu, Dec 3, 2009 at 7:26 PM, MentallyStable_ Beast <[email protected]> wrote: > End Result : > > rank 1. windows 7 > rank 2.windows xp > > no rank-windows vista > > On Dec 4, 2:23 am, Espionage724 <[email protected]> wrote: >> Woot fixed my WoW issue.
