Yep I did that a few times.

If you happen to have a retail windows 7 image (TPB, or digitally
purchased from MS) then you can use mcirosoft's windows 7 to usb tool
(thats not the "actual" name of it to my knowledge anyway). If you
can't find the tool then there was some other guide pointing towards a
 list of commands you could do, basically has the same effect though.
