Hello, I'm new here, so I was wondering if someone could walk me
through how to install my modded driver.

So I'm Matt. I recently got a Thinkpad R60 laptop for x-mas. This is a
wicked computer, 1.66ghz Intel Core Duo, 1GB of RAM, and I'm actually
planning to buy 2GB more so that I can max out XP 32 bit. But here's
the bottleneck. I have a Intel GMA950. That obviously bottlenecks my
whole setup for gaming, which I am of course, an avid gamer. I ran the
GMABooster, and although that helped, BF:Vietnam was still choppy, at
best, and I think that with the modded driver, I can run that much
better.

And, there's the catch. I don't know how to install the driver! I'm
really computer savvy as well, so I do know my way around things, but
I don't know anything about these drivers or how to install them. I
get an error when I click the .exe, and it says "I don't have the
required specs", or "My card is not supported".

So, that's why I come for help. Could someone please walk me through
on how to do this? Again, I'm absolutely new at this, and I need a
complete walkthrough on each step. I saw this video on Youtube on how
to mod the drivers, but I was still confused. I just want to install
these modded drivers, but I'm way confused

You all are doing a phenominal job, I've seen your drivers and action,
and what you all have accomplished is nothing short of incredible. The
programmers at ATI and Nvidia who make their drivers, they have
nothing on you, you kick each one of their asses. What you guys have
done with so little is just awesome, and you deserve a big thanks.

PS: BTW, I installed the latest driver for my GMA950. I had to go the
back way, and use the "Have Disk" option in the device manager. But
that is only the Intel driver, I want to install the modded drivers. I
have the 945 Mobile Express board I believe, but I'm not sure which, I
have the 1.66ghz Core Duo "Yonah" CPU, and both the GM and PM use that.
