Hello friends of 9xx SSF.
I was just reading about cpu upgrade on notebooks, and the I realized
that I have a problem.

The main problem is that I don't know what chipset I actually have.
Because Intel's tool for chipset id tells me that is a gm965, everest
can't tell me wich one is (between gl960/gm965), cpu-z tells me gl960
same as the acer page for my pc (Acer aspire 5720z) but in the page I
didn't found the exact config I have, furthermore, the specs on
intel's page for gl960 differ from the ones that Acer claims in the
user's manual.

So how reliable is the chipset identification utility from intel, I
think it should be more accurate than cpu-z since it's from intel but
IDK.
Also I need to know to buy some ram because 960 only suports
(officially) 2GB but some people says it have 3GB or even 4GB so I'm
confused.

Any Ideas or another software I can try?

BTW if some of you have gl960: Have you tried more than 2GB of ram?
