I'm on Windows 7 and I currently tried all the public versions of the MD for the 945gm and so far, the only game engine that really benefited from them was the Source engine. Any other game/game engine I tested was either not affected, barely affected, or negitavly affected by the drivers.
Games I tested: Warcraft III^ Diablo II^ World of Warcraft^ Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Killing Floor** Unreal Tournament 2004** ** Unreal Engine 2 ^ Downgrade in Performance The following games above don't seem to benefit from MD. So I guess my question is, has anyone tried any of these games (including games on the unreal engine 2) with a win vista/7 modded driver and gotten any performance difference? Also in Windows 7, my Aero performance was 2.4, with XP drivers, it was 1.9, back in the early days of vista, it was as high as a 2.5 or 2.7 (without modded drivers). -- INTEL 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
